Can you buy an evisa using a credit card?

Yes. Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Make sure you only use the official government site though. Other sites will cost you more.

I am thinking of closing my nationwide account which i normally use to buy the evisa.
I will probably use my halifax clarity or starling card to buy evisa.

I went to Side last month and had lost my visa that I got in May, fortunately if you go on to the website then status it allows you to print off your visa again, just thought it might help others knowing this.

Also, the Pasaport Polis have your visa details on their computer system.

When applying for an Evisa do you still receive a confirmation email please?
I did my husband’s Saturday and no email still so I’m thinking maybe you don’t get one any more?

Yes with a Approve button which you must respond to within one hour otherwise visa is cancelled.

Ah ok many thanks Highlander Iv had that email but that is it, so this email is the actual confirmation one now from which you download the visa?

I got that email and when I click on it on the green approve bit it says your application was successful and payment is done (words to that effect ) then where it says download your visa it’s all there re the info, it also says a confirmation email has also been sent that is the email I haven’t received...
So I’m none the wiser thank you Highlander for your help   :)
