Can someone please tell me and others why we cannot open pictures that have the little box with red cross in it thankyou.

hi lance, i'm afraid you have picked on a complicated subject or at least a subject with many answers,listed below are a few reasons as to why you may have this problem and also a few links that may or may not be informative,more info as to each and every problem is required really as all can be a different situation...
image is hot link blocked
image is over bandwidth
image is improperly coded
image is no longer on the web
in email,you may be blocking all attachments

I think that the reason will be that the source photo (uploaded to photobucket or other such site by the poster) has now been deleted by the poster. I deleted some of mine the other day and then realised that if  had used the in any posts that they will now be missing from the thread. I hope that makes sense. :)

I move mine after a few weeks. Can't see the point of keeping the thread going too long.
