Title: Pop up box - Undefined
Post by: kenkay on November 27, 2013, 12:08:15 PM: I've been on gmail, Outlook and FB with no probs. On CBF I keep getting a pop up box, message from webpage, saying "undefined". When I click OK I get "21489BACB72FF3" in the same box. Has anybody got any ideas?

Post by: Scunner on November 27, 2013, 12:11:13 PM: I was getting it earlier Ken - I just kept closing it and eventually it buggered off. No idea what it was though - I am thinking maybe something to do with the Google adverts.

Post by: kenkay on November 27, 2013, 16:05:23 PM: It seems to have vanished here too. I got it this morning so being ever so cautious I did a Security Essentials scan. However it was still here after that at lunchtime. Anyway at least it wasn't only me ;)

Post by: Colwyn on November 27, 2013, 16:18:44 PM: On my PC the "undefined" messages came from servedby.flashtalking. It arrived just after I had downloaded an update of SystemCare. This is an IObit product and I have had trouble before with this outfit so I uninstalled everything that came from them and the message disappeared on restart. But since so many of you have experienced it I was probably blaming the wrong thing.

Flashtalking seems to be a smart ad service. Probably responsible for me being repeatedly recommended tickets for England v Denmark at Wembley. I am not very interested in soccer and, if I was, I wouldn't be supporting England. Marvellous these intelligent ad targetting tools, ain't they?

Eventually logged out of CBF for several hours. Message did not appear again on this latest log in. The joys of computing!
