Title: Mark Cavendish wins first stage of Tour of Turkey

Manxman Mark Cavendish won the 141km 1st stage of Tour of Turkey yesterday.Opening stage was from Alanya and tour will continue between Alanya and Kemer today.(175km)
The eight stage journey will trace the Mediterranean and Aegean coasts until the seventh stage in Izmir,After transferring by air, tour will end its traditional finish in Istanbul on May 4th.
Sadly report did not show a mention of Fethiye.

Watched this yesterday, what a great view from the air and a really good advert for the Turkish Coast too!  :)

Yesterdays stage won by Estonian Rein Taaramae, British rider Adam Yates came second.
TODAY they leave Fethiye at 1pm local time. Starting outside Fethiyespor Kiosk on main road. Main Road closed outside Migros stretch.To reach seaside/harbour you have to cross opposite paspatur entrance just below roundabout. 8)
