Violet Apartments Calis

Hi Everyone,

Just booked some flights to Dalaman for end of June,

We are looking to come to Calis Beach for a week. I'm very excited.

We are going to book a 3bed apartment, in the Violet Apartments complex, I wondered if anyone has heard of this place or stayed there?

Any info would be much appreciated

How far is the walk to the beach front would you say?

It's a superb complex with a huge pool, very well kept. It's probably not worth learning how long it takes to walk to the beach, especially in June - it's right on the bus route down to the prom and the buses run every few minutes in season.

I'd say 30 minutes in the June heat to walk? Never done it, never will

I'm sure you will like Violet.

Sorry to bombard you with questions, but how far is the market and shops from Violet? We arrive very late on a Saturday night, so would need to buy provisions first thing on Sunday, are there shops nearby?

Hi Lucy
We've an apartment on Violet, you'll love it as it's very central for everything.
There is a little market opposite the complex for your daily shop or if you want some supermarkets and fab lokantas you'll find them on the top road which is five minutes away.  Just ask Ali anything you need to know, he's always on site through the day and at night you will have Mustafa keeping watch over you.
The dolmus stops right outside to take you to the front or across the road if you want to go into Fethyie.

Hi Again Lucy. I posted earlier in you intro thread. I agree with everything Anne and Keith said. About 25 mins walk to beach and 5 mins into Gulukbasi for numerous shops and a couple of good Lokantas.
However if you follow Annes instructions for the dolmus you'll go the wrong way It's across the main road to get it for the beach and on our side for Fethiye .
