Title: Teeth whitening
Post by: DonM on October 08, 2013, 10:23:42 AM
Has anybody had their teeth whitened by a dentist in Fethiye please?

Any info like approximate price and recommendations would be most welcome.

My husband had his done, at Volkan's, I can't remember the price but it was far cheaper than here, I will ask him later and report back.

Yes, members of my family have had it done.  All work done by Cagatay Aras. http://www.dentistfethiye.com
If you get in touch with him (he is also a member of this Forum) he will give you a price.  However, it's much cheaper than the U.K. Charges usually about 1/3 cheaper.
Can thoroughly recommend him as do lots of members of this Forum. Even though we live in Scotland he is our Dentist.

I used Cagatay also a couple of years ago.
There are 2 options, laser and a bleaching gel you put into a mould.
Cagatay will recommend the best option for you.
Cost if I remember correctly was about 500 TL ( for the mould type and 10 tubes of bleach (I still have 5 left)

I read on the internet that you shouldn't have your teeth whitened after a certain age.. Something to do with your gums receding after the age of 60...

Thanks everybody for the info.  :)  :)

I spoke with my dentist today and she stated the over 60 problem was an "Urban Myth" and a good dentist should advise you if your gums weren't up to it.
