Where Should the Next UK City of Culture Be?
« on: November 04, 2013, 19:00:28 PM »
The next (2017) UK City of culture will be decided this month. But which one has the culture required to have such a prestigious designation?

I would not vote for non of the above, as I have not been to some of them.  I wonder how many people who voted for non have actually been to all the Cities?

I've been to all of them several times. In fact I was in one of them today and I'll be in another of them tomorrow. Ain't I the lucky one?

I think it has gone from places of culture to places that could use a bit of a boost. It should be places like Harrogate, St. Andrews and Bath, instead it is Hull and Leicester. I used to work for a Hull based company and was there almost every week - and I didn't witness much that I would term as culture.
