What a great idea! Very innovative and a good way of improving things.

I have used this service to bring to their attention my concern re medical clinics/dialysis centres in Calis putting syringes and other medical waste on the street for collection.

I have since received a reply saying my concerns will be taken forward to the appropropriate authorities and advising me I could have a summary of the action taken if I want it. Sounds like a very genuine service which can raise a wider awareness of peoples concerns - why not use it if you have a gripe!

Part of the article in The Oludeniz Post.

Mugla Governor Dr. Ahmet Altiparmak made a statement and said 179 Call and Advice Centre was to serve until October 1, 2009 for 24 hours.

So, is it going to close on 1st October ?

It seems to me that every person on here who has expressed a concern about;
roaming dogs, an alledged cartel on Effes, litter in the street, rubbish on the beach, prices at Dalaman Airport or  a lack of police in holiday resorts ought to use this service.
Now doubt others members can think of other issues to pass on but lets not pass up the opportunity to express genuine concerns for the sake of sending an email; otherwise we may become characterised by being moaning Brits who do nothing but moan.
This is I beleive a genuine attempt to 'survey' peoples concerns which deserves support.

Attempted Abduction: Read 1,888 times
Efes Price Increase: Read 13,829 times

Who will prioritise which issues are most important and which ones to address first...

Have sent them two complaints now - one about the attempted abductions (something very close to my heart, following an incident involving myself and my 16 year old daughter last year) and also the change man in Fethiye (also been there, and got the t-shirt  :( )

I feel like a moaning minnie today  :D  but it feels soooo much better that something might finally be done to sort out these problems, before someone is seriously attacked, or, on a slightly less serious note, more people get ripped off by the thieving git in Fethiye!   :o
