Title: quilt covers/cushions etc
Post by: shuttle on April 18, 2011, 17:21:57 PM
Would be grateful for any recommendations on the following.
Watching all these programmes like a place in the sun you see these bedrooms beautifully decorated with all these lovely quilt covers/pillow cases with cushions to match( with striking patterns) and even the curtains as well. Without paying an arm and a leg where can i buy these, preferably locally but will travel if necessary.
Many thanks

By locally do you mean in the UK or Turkey?

If this the place I think you mean GB she closed down a year ago.
I really miss that shop, bought some lovely bedding from her and brought some home as presents.  Her bedcovers were exquisite.  I have never found anyone else to replace her in the area:(

oh shame - she had nice stuff, other than that there are the interior shops in Fethiye -They sell some of the most outrageous bedding - more like a Spanish Flamenco dress than a duvet cover. eurrgghh

I brought bedding from England but it takes up a lot of weight allowance on luggage.
Next door to HSBC in Fethiye and along that road are some bedding shops if you have to buy in Fethiye. Not much of a selection though.

I bought a couple of cover sets from  the big Bellona furniture shop but they did not have matching curtains.

Hi, like you we purchased in Ovacik last year as well and fitted out our place totally following the advice of Forum friends. If I can be of any assistance, e-mail me but you will be lost for choice just by walking around Fethyie.
