A warm welcome to everyone. My partner (Vanessa) and I (Phil) will be arriving late on Saturday 10th May and will be staying for a week at the Aymes Hotel. I have been to Calis twice before, but cannot really remember the tourist attractions. Is there still a large Sunday market approx. 4 or 5 mile from Calis which is accessible by Dolmus? Could anyone recommend trips that Ness & I would enjoy. We have a love of all history, nature and generally messing around..... neither of us are beach huggers. Lastly we would like your recommendations for our main evening meal.

the sunday market is still there and there is lots of places in calis that advertise places to go
kayakoya is a interesting place to go

The Sunday market isn't 4 to 5 miles from the beach though :o

Main evening meal is of course a personal choice but the table on this thread will give you an overall idea of people's favourite places. I would say Casa da Mama
