Title: House tax Ciftlik / Koca Calis area
Post by: DANKY on May 12, 2015, 11:44:56 AM: Can anybody tell me if the council tax has gone up this year and do we still pay in fethiye please along with the water bill .

Tax was at least double plus.
So where do you pay,who knows?

Oh well ill save on the taxi ride to Fethiye if i can again pay my house and water bills in Ciftlik

Good to know we can still pay in Ciftlik. Pide and Pay for us then ;-)

It's also possible to pay your water bill at the Fatura opposite the dolmus station in Fethiye. It's very handy as not everyone has a Turkish bank account (for direct debit purposes), and there are rarely any queues.

Post by: tinkerman on May 14, 2015, 11:55:34 AM: I recently had a bill for our house in Telmessos which we sold over ten years ago, the new owner paid all the bills at the Ciftlik office since then, unfortunately although he has the receipts the Fethiye office cannot account for the payments for the last five years! Be warned.
