This is a real pleasure to do.
All the recipients were highly delighted indeed the man in Gunisik (whose name I do not know) was so delighted he showed everyone the restaurant his Certificate :)

The guy in gunisik is Senay (mike) and his lovely wife, nuran. Amazing people, amazing food. Very well deserved :) x

We have eaten at both Bella Mamas and Meeting Point over this last week - fantastic food and service. Re Meeting Point: amazing value - 3 courses for 28 TL. Well deserved accolades!

Glad to see the price for 3 course at Meeting Point hasn't increased from last year ArtyMar. They have loyal customers.

As a measure of how much the certificate means to Salih and his team, there are two enlarged certificates in Gunisik now - one at the entrance and one inside.

A suggestion from the present Mrs H which may be worthy of consideration.
Which is a separate category for Cafe/Bars (eg Lees).

This was the initial format. The problem was that people moaned that although (for example) The Harem was a restaurant, they liked to go there for a few drinks before moving elsewhere to eat. Thus to them they couldn't vote for it as their favourite bar because it wasn't in the bar section, it was in the restaurant section mainly due to it being a restaurant. Similarly yet radically contrarily, other people whinged and mythered that although their favourite bar was in the bar section, they liked to eat there too, and they couldn't vote for their favourite restaurant because it wasn't in the list of restaurants, it was in the list of bars, what with it being a bar.
But feel free to go ahead with Brenda's idea ;)

H, Hatice in the Gunisik even has a copy on her car window! There are copies inside the menu too. They are ever so proud of the achievement.

Great that the winners appreciate there recognition so much & rightly so as voted by there customers.
Suprised local newspapers don't run a simaler voting for favourite bars/restaurants here in the UK.
