Post by: trixe12 on June 21, 2018, 13:03:10 PM
Hi has anyone used a iPad Cellular Wi-Fi  in Turkey When I click on data in the iPad a few carriers did  come up but I was scared to carry on,  how much am I likely to be charged for internet

as I would require a secure connection  to order medication online and banking
Thanks Carol

If you are roaming you'll be charged loads.

Best option is to buy a Vodafone sim on a monthly contract (cancel at the end of the month if you like). Vodafone UK includes free roaming in Turkey - the others don't.

Scunner I am not up to date with these type of things but was looking at a 50gb for £30 a month with vodaphone what would that be like regarding data use over say a 2 week period using ipad, phone, and if possible amazon echo dot

You’d struggle to get near that Peter, unless you start watching movies or the like.

I was on 20gb last year (and with two data hungry teenagers connecting to it via hotspot too) and that lasted till the last day of our 11 days.
