Hi all, i was told when i was over last month that my uk mobile and sim will work ok for the first 3 months, is this true. Bee

Your UK mobile and SIM are controlled by our UK airtime provider. You need to ask them.

your UK service supplier could be BT, Vodaphone, Orange or many others. If you don't know then I would suggest that you are too immature to own a moblile so just buy a phonecard in Turkey, they're very good.

Hi Bee,

Be aware that if you put a Turkish SIM in you UK phone it may last for months, as has Fi's, or it may be locked straight away as happened to mine.  (That was the one that was stolen so its no use to anyone now) Plenty of threads on this on CBF if you do a subject search, there are some knowledgable folk out there who can help.
