My mobile threw a 'wobbly'
« on: June 12, 2008, 10:47:58 AM »
I have an LG mobile model no.C3310
I was phoning a friend but as there was no reply I ended the call & as I did this the screen went blue! On shutting the phone and opening it again, the screen is now upside down and very difficult to use as the buttons now have to be used in the opposite direction e.g. if I want to go up the menu, I have to arrow down!! I know this sounds funny but believe me it's very confusing and frustrating!!
Can anyone help please?

Thanks, Sue

We've got some Australian friends arriving this afternoon. I'll ask them if they want to buy it !

Get someone to make a reverse charge call to you.

Sorry Sue, it looks like it needs a repair. Searches on the web for problems like this for LG phones always say the ribbon is broken (the ribbon connects to the screen and then the main board)

Had expected some amusing replies and was not disappointed!:D
Thanks Redding43, at least I now have some idea as to what is probably wrong with it.
Am a bit worried about where to have it repaired as I have some sentimental photos on it and don't want to lose them. I am currently unable to download these to my computer, probably due to the situation with the phone.
Will I have to wait until I go back to the U.K. for a visit or can anyone suggest somewhere reliable to take it in or around the Fethiye area?

Thanks again, Sue
