Today, Thursday there will be a concert on the sunset terace on the promenade at 8.00 pm.
This will be followed at 8.45 by a talk from sea turtle expert, Professor Yakup Kaska, who studied in the UK and speaks both Turkish and English. As well as a slide show this will be a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy learning and talking about these fascinating creatures, for which the Calis area is so famous. Professor Yakup Kaska teaches at Pamukkale University and runs the June Haimoff Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Centre on Iztuzu Beach in Dalyan.
In readiness for this event two thousand brochures have been printed in Turkish and English about Sea Turtles and the Bird Reserve, with all sorts of useful information and data. So make sure you pick up a copy
