Changing names or inheritance of property
« Reply #10 on: May 31, 2011, 17:36:08 PM »
If I can find the details I will post.  A place to start if someone cares to google is a firm called "Title Search" they act for property abroad, they will also have the information of the lawyers acting in ~UK and ensuring that wishes are carried out as per the UK Will, ~NOTHING to do with the Turkish inheritance (Which is a a waste of money if you make a ~Will in Turkey).
Basically, if the person dies with property in Turkey then the property is sold and the money goes to Probate and that is where the UK Will comes into force.

The UK lawyer will apply for all certificates to be apostilled, and then sent to the court to have the Turkish embassy to ratify the documents.

Title Search, this firm by memory is based somewhere near to Horsham, I could be wrong, but it is a starting place, I had a contact for there office, but again it is on the old inaccessible hard drive[:(!]
