On Monday 11th July at 17.00 hrs there will be an opening ceremony at the Cultural Centre in Fethiye of a special photographic exhibition.

Dr Alan M Greaves of Liverpool university, together with Photo Kandiye Sukru Gurel & FETAV are displaying historical photographs of Turkey taken by the prominent archaeologist John Garstang, during 1907 - 1908 As well as photographs of Fethiye during the same period.

The exhibition will be open for 5 days.

Thanks Tinx I would really like to know. I love photograhic exhibitons I especially like old photos so I would love to hear your opinion.

I have met and talked with Alan Greaves on a few occasions - if the exhibition is as interesting as he is, then it will be well worth the visit

Is it a ticket affair and if so where can they be bought? Could you indicate where the Cultural Centre is in Fethiye

It is the large blue building behind the PTT in the centre of Fethiye.
