I had it done in the Dominican Republic after picking up an ear infection. It was quite pleasant actually, although what comes out isn't so appealing! It was exceptionally low tech, big syringe about the size of a Smarties tube, wooshing solution right into your lugholes.

It was around 15 years ago so I don't remember how much it cost. However I do remember that the nurse who did it had enormous breasts.

The English speaking chemist opposite the smaller Migros in central Fethiye offered to syringe with my wife's ear if the drops he provided failed, they worked!

My husband charges 50 TL. He's in Ovacik.
I would not recommend to have your ears syringed by a chemist.
They have had no training to do this.

If you have SGK it is 35tl at The Esnaf. Make sure you use drops before going because they will use suction to get the wax out which is very unpleasant.. We waited 2 hours at The Devlet despite having an appointment..

Mercury, you paid 35 in the SGK, i paid 25 not in the sgk,i was in and out in one hour,
if your over 60, i think you go to the top of the list, but at any hospital,
unless your private you have to wait your turn, and your also paying a
monthly sum in the SGK,
