Man Utd - Liverpool could they?
« on: December 22, 2013, 08:21:43 AM »
Just watched MOD - and 3 things took my attention:

1. How happy and together Liverpool look as a team and the unselfish way they are playing for each other - particularly Suarez but more than just him - could they actually win it in a season where no one stands out - yet?

2. Januzaj - could be as good as Giggs  - but also Rooney playing deeper has now made 9 assists - more than anyone else - could he play deeper regularly with so many forwards at Man Utd  and help them win the title from a deeper position - anything is possible if Ashley Young can score :-)

3. A close up of Fergie - quite rightly looking down his nose at the man in the next seat who is sending a message on his smart phone - his face says "I've had too many problems with players and those things - I would ban them from the ground if I had my way!"

4. Januzaj - could be as good as Tom Daley. Rooney playing deeper through the failure to sign a creative midfielder. I admit though Rooney is a very versatile and indeed good player.
