Couldn't agree more badger - it was great stuff. Another highlight was when the mike was given to a little lad who said his question was for Shearer, not Alan Shearer, just Shearer - also priceless  :)

"Shearer" answering the question about managing Newcastle - "Well I got them relegated so I doubt they'd ask" or similar. I found Alan Shearer to be a right bore when a player but I like him a lot these days.

I find 'pundits' chalk and cheese, I like them or can't stand them. I wonder who other members like. I think Hansen is brilliant (sorry) and can't stand Lawrenson, he's so dull. In recent times I have grown to very much like the thoughts of John Hartson, also Leroy Rosenior & Steve Claridge (on the Football League Show) and Dietmar Hamann. Someone I couldn't stand as a footballer but I find to be a very interesting pundit is Danny Mills.

And you? :D

I really like Danny Murphy - always talks a lots of sense - don't like Garth Crooks - too dramatic - don't really like Robbie Savage for the same reasons (funnily enough Gill likes him - can't understand why?) and yes Steve Claridge is very good.

How many would make good managers though ?

I agree with all of your choices but would add Robbie Savage.

PS I noticed you didn't mention your least favourite pundit (?)

I'm not sure who my least favourite is John - there's many I hate to watch - I can't stand Garth Crooks so maybe you mean him?

As for Chris Kamara - absolute legend, love him

Jamie Carragher,  I just watch a programme about him tonight.  He seems a really nice guy.  Went to Bootle and pointed out all the local landmarks, his old house, his Dad's old pub.  His Mum's house, she will not move even though he offered to move her to a new place.   Also the local hairdresser, he said lots of Footballers go to posh Hairdressers, but he has always used the same one.   He seemed so down to earth and so likeable.
I think him and Gary Neville make a good T.V. Team.
