Remer or Ceren??
« on: August 16, 2017, 07:21:52 AM »
Help required here please. Our usual stay is the Oykun or Club E this time we are having a change and our choice is the Remer or the Ceren , the prices are the same, for location it would be the Ceren having said that from memory in June i seem to remeber whilst sat in Lees bar very loud music from next door which may  have been the Ceren not too sure. Also is it more  for the german tourists? We also like the look of the Remer but are wondering if the pool area would be too shaded in September because of the surrounding buildings can anyone advise need to book going in 3 week any help would be most appreciated.

I can only comment on The Ceren. We stayed there is February during the sale of our apartment.
We found the manager and staff friendly and they made our visiting guests welcome.
Our room was over looking the sea and was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

not much to choose between them, we used to stay at the Ceren, but that was when you had the use of all of the frontage/garden, now you are restricted to sunbeds just round the pool, depending where you want to eat it is a little bit further along the prom, but front rooms have a nice view.   The Remur is well situated and as far as we could see the pool remains sunny most of the time, the hotel looks well looked after and gets lots of good reports.  We have friends that go there twice a year and love it.

Not stayed at the Ceren but have stayed a few times at the Remer, lovely hotel, great staff. Rooms have been refurbished, very clean. Feel very comfortable here.

We passed the Remer a few times when we stayed at the Area in July - it looked really nice  :)

The Area was good too - small rooms but great pool/location.

I think Nevra still works on reception,if you have any good in your heart and room in your case she loves shortbread. She really is a lovely person.

Slightly off topic but hey.............

Nevra does indeed work in reception at the Remer and indeed in the bar but only when she is not having a Becks on the "guest side" (only joking).

Gorgeous Nevra has not changed one bit since we first met her     :). A very successful lady in a "mans world" who we simply adore.
