My son has just come back fro OZ and NZ and we are getting the usual stories slipped into the conversation. One which tickled me was about and student in Auckland who had chained himself to the bar for a 7 day protest.
Now - his chain was long enough to reach the loo, the pool table and just long enough so that he could go outside for a fag. He was also managing to get a few beers bought for him by the regulars.
He had a bed installed by the side of the bar and seemed to be enjoying this impromptu protest.
What was he protesting about I hear you ask? Well - he was protesting about monkies! Evidently he didn't like them for some reason.
Now that's what I call a guy who's gonna go a long way in life:D
