This was the view from my window this morning at 6.45am. There where four of them but two ran away. One reason why, even though I complain about flight prices, I love living here. (Click on each picture to enlarge it) ;)

Lovely pictures Jacqui, and unfortunately it got me thinking how nice venison is and whether I can get any out here in Turkey .. sorry :-[
H your views are pleasing on the eye too, but do nothing I'm afraid for the stomach ;)

Fantastic view from the house Jacqui

We went a year or so back and it was closed :)

Thanks for all nice comments guys... This view is to the right of my livingroom window. Looking to the left I look right out to sea and watch the Shetland ferry passing by each evening in the Spring and Summer :)
Stoop, my house is never closed ;D ;)

I moved to Turkey because of the friendly people, great scenery etc and then found it all in Scotland :D

Jacqui and Scunner -Happy for you and may you continue to enjoy.
I took pictures of deer last year that were right down in the field near the road but so far I have not seen them this year. I look for them daily.
I do love the pictures of the deer with their little horns starting to grow.
H As usual another great view of our great highlands.

What beautiful pictures. I must go and get some of Birmingham for you all to see.

Looking forward to that Lynne.

I knew you would be! I bet you won't sleep with the excitement! I will ensure you feel the essence of life in Brummy land! :)

I spent a week in Birmingham once - in the Grand Hotel if you will!
The company I worked for were based in Nechells (?) with offices all over the World - someone dropped out of a training course and I was packed off to make up the numbers. I thought it was very nice. Sorry, that's all I know about Birmingham - oh, apart from what I know from the Brum DVD, which I have seen with my kids, around 600 times.

Must say I do love my father's birthplace. Spent many a happy holiday in Dumfries and beyond. The scenery is wonderful and the welcome is lovely.

I have just come home to a deer at the side of our road. It must be the season for them to come down from the hills for a wander around the streets of our little old village.
Will they be Urban deer??
-
If visiting your village makes them become suave and refined they will be urbane deer.
-
Doe h !

I nearly bought some venison recently but it's dead dear.
I'll get me coat....

Not sure about the suave and sophisticated but certainly smooth. Just stared at me and hid behind a few bushes.
