Buying Foreign Currency
« on: March 17, 2010, 22:08:11 PM »
I'm so out of touch on certain things  :-\

Can anyone advise where the best place might be to buy Euros - I mean somewhere to walk in with pounds and walk out with euros, rather than something sent to you by recorded delivery or similar.

Post Office looks good, someone else told me M&S - any thoughts?

Thanks  :)

Oh meant to say that in Sept when I went to buy Lira at M&S in Stirling, we walked past the "Cheque Centre" in the main shopping area and they offered more than anyone else, commission free, so we got them there. There's one is South St Perth.

Tescos Crieff Rd,  First Choice shop in Asda, Thomas Cook High Street  and the Travel shop in the centre going in from the South Street side.
I believe Post Office have one of the best rates.
