A child molester was recently sentenced to life in prison for his vile crimes. He must serve a minimum of four years.

If it wasn't such a serious subject it would be a joke. Life can mean four years? WTF is happening with our legal system?

The Coventry Evening Telegraph recently reported on a case of a chap receiving a "caution" for having sex with under age girls. I seem to think that the law is open to interpretation dependant upon how severe the judge considers the case. The whole thing is shocking.

Yes indeed - what has happened to our criminal system.
OK after his 4 years he will be reassessed, so that means more court time and expense, and also the chance he will be allowed his freedom.
The punishment fitting the crime no longer seems to exist.
