Caught 15 minutes of it last night, the gags are definitely not sewn into it seamlessly and as much as I didn't want to laugh at it I did. As far as Father Ted was concerned how seamless was the drunk slobbering retired priest? Couldn't for the life of me see what was funny about Father Ted. As far as old time comedy is concerned I loved old Mother Riley, Mr Pastry, Norman Wisdom etc but above all Al Read.
