Hi Shuttle, I have a villa in Ovacik, and as KKOB and many others have previously stated in other area's of the forum, you need look no further than Engin Fersiz at Fethiye Property Services!

I have had the villa for 5 years and have experienced many disappointments and let downs prior to meeting Engin. I have been delighted with his services over the past year. Why don't you contact me via my profile, and I will give you my phone number. I'm happy to discuss this with you in detail.

Mark.

Lucy, at homes and gardens in Ovacik, looks after our friend's villa for them and they are delighted with her.  You can reach her by email info@homesandgardensfethiye.com.
She is very attentive and lives locally so does give the personal touch.

How much would you expect to pay for someone to look after a small pool, cut the grass and generally care for the garden of a medium sized house? Chemicals to be bought separately?

The man that helped install my pool wanted 300 lira a month, just to maintain the pool, needless to say, he didn't get the job of maintaining it. Alan

Hi there - have your tried Support Unlimited - they are based in Hisaronu and operate in the local area.  Think they have a website - something like supportunlimited.com or .co.uk  English owned.

Good luck.

Is 300 lira a month for the 6 summer months and 150 lira a month for the 6 winter months about right to pay for someone to do pool maintenance, gardening and general odd jobs?

Dafodil, We pay about that figure.
What you need to consider is what you get for your money & if you feel happy that you are not being ripped off.
I know that other people pay a lot less than me for their maintenance but its all about you being comfortable with the service you get. If they are giving crap service and the garden is overun with weeds etc then you are not spending your money wisely. Likewise if its trouble free and all the gardens are looking great when you get there etc then fine. If you can get cheaper and equally good service then even better.
Its a bit like putting your car in for a service. The main dealer will probably charge double per hour than a local small garage but people still use main dealers because they think its best. You are buying a service with maintenance, how good or bad it is is a subjective view.

Seems a bit strange this one, I have used this company for 3 years and have always had a first class and very professional service, I will speak to the owners to see if it was them posting, but anyway here is a link if you should need there services  8)

Sorry Steve I have removed the link you added. They arrived, spammed a number of old/obsolete topiocs with adverts for themselves then buggered off. If they want business from CBF members, they need to learn to respect them first. This is not a free listing website, it is a community forum.

Teshy cooler.
