A Huge Thankyou
« on: October 16, 2015, 07:59:06 AM »
A huge thankyou to everyone who came to support our Coffee Morning yesterday.  It was a fab day, weather perfect.  The models strutted their stuff( it aint a doddle being a model, I can assure you, its nerve racking lol), the clothes got sold, the cakes got eaten, (many thanks to all our bakers), tombola and raffle tickets were sold and a good day was had by all.  A sad farewell was given to Pete and Chrissy (thankyou Jan for your lovely words), for all their hard work over the years and were presented with one of Carol Boston's paintings and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Last of all thankyou to all the staff at the Mandolin restuarant. The amount raised will be given in the next few days.

Our compere for the day was Ian from the Kismet Bar, who did a sterling job and also auctioned our medical check up's which were very kindly donated by Dr Ali.  A sad farewell was given to Pete and Chrissy (thankyou Jan for your lovely words), for all their hard work over the years and were presented with one of Carol Boston's paintings and a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
