SPRING COFFEE MORNING AND FASHION SHOW - 24th MARCH
Once again the weather was very kind to us, we did not get the rain that was promised and the sun shone. There were lots of delicious cakes, hot cross buns and sausage rolls on sale, not forgetting the all-important English chocolate and goodies that some of our committee members brought back from the u.k. for us. There was also a raffle and Tombola and plenty of quality good to buy including the clothes that were modelled on the day.
A huge thank you to all of the models and the great DJ Rimmer for his great commentary and music you all made it a great success. Thank you to all committee members and volunteers who help on the day setting up stalls and serving customers not forgetting , Cathy our shop manageress and her crew for their brilliant behind the scene work making the fashion show run so smoothly . Also a huge thank you to the Mandolin Hotel for allowing us to ‘take over’ the Hotel and Restaurant and for being such great hosts.
