Hi
My name is Chris and visit Calis each summer for last 5 years. It is great for a real rest and friendly locals.
Whilst usually safe can I remind all to not take risk's that you would not do at home. We were there last week and two of the young girls middle 20's were walking to hotel early evening after getting some shopping, when they were followed and draged from behind and dragged to floor. One of the girls was bruised ,both got away and police were involved and have said not the only incident. This was down near Scarlots. So if you would'nt do it at home dont do it on holiday.

Early evening in a street with a busy pie/pastry cafe, busy laundry, very busy internet cafe, restaurant, barber and two restaurants at either side of the top? Here we go again...

Did you see this happen?

My feeling of late is that we should be careful not to disbelieve the newish members who come here with shocking and gloomy stories. They may well be telling the truth. The truth being that they are simply passing on what they heard from the same handful of gossip merchants in Calis.
