Currently the number 1 iphone app in Holland so it must be good :D
This free app claims to work all over the globe irrespective of your IP. Good channel list too:

It's pretty good too - works with wireless but not with 3G
For iphone/ipad: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/filmon-live-tv-hdi-anytime/id427900675?mt=8
ALSO AVAILABLE FOR ANDROID: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.gzero.filmon
Hope that helps :)

I should say works anywhere means works anywhere in the World, not anywhere as in not needing a wifi connection - you will need one of those :)
-
Looks very good, I need to find it for windows 7, I downloaded the earlier one for ESPN goals. I'm off to look. Thanks for the tip.
-
Keith I have sent you a couple of emails over the last 3 days I know you are busy but wondered if you have got them
Mark

Yes this works very nicely on an android phone here in the UK, and if it works in Turkey it's double blessed!!
-
Great app Keith.
Just got to hook it up to the Tv....
Thanks
-
good shout, its better than the one I have at the present

Works well in Turkey. Anyone know how to connect to the TV? (using an IPod touch)
-
Ok Billet
Also on win 7
Any conections yet ??

You can stream it to your home telly using Apple TV but that is another expense of course.
-
Fantastic App! My sons in Thailand will love this.
Apple tv costs about £100 so it could be worth the investment for those who want to hook it up to the TV. I wonder if I can get it to do the same with my Sony Netbox as I have a server set up. Not sure though. Must try it when I have a few spare minutes. Depending on what footy you can get on CL nights etc I might just invest in and Apple TV Box as well - but don't tell the missus!
-
Apple TV for under £90.

Sorry no luck yet on windows phone.

Works great on 3g as well! Just been watching it at work (it will use a lot of your free allowance though so be very careful on 3g)

Anybody know how to get an iPod touch to use a Turkcell dongle for wi-fi connection? The dongle is how we connect the laptop in Turkey but the dongle doesn't broadcast it's network name. Didn't have an iPod when we were last there, so don't know if this will connect to the dongle automatically. Thanks, John
-
I'm pretty sure you can't connect an iphone/ipod touch to an internet service provided via USB dongle.
-
Brilliant! thanks for that, it makes you think what more is available that people don't know about.
-
Thanks Scunner. That fits with what happens with a Kindle. That doessn't work with the dongle, either. As the late Robert Robinson would say " Ah, would that it did".
-
I have down loaded this do you have to pay for films and t.v. when i click on either nothing happens .[^]
-
My son has it up and running in Thailand! He has his tv hooked up to his laptop via a cable and it works perfect. He's also paid $14 for the first month ( I guess to watch premium channels but I will find out).
He just told me he went out and recorded MOTD - evidently you can just press and it will record any channel for you.
Might just gamble with an apple tv box if some of the foreign channels show footy.
-

So you just hook your iPhone up to the tv with a hd cable from the iPhone? Sounds cheaper than apple tv. How much did it cost?
-
got mine from amazon. paid 19.99
I've just got back to Turkey this week and started using it.. dont even
need to use vpn.
iphone4 to HDMI. make sure you get the one with the usb charger port on it.
-
Cheers.
-
has anyone bought an apple tv ? wonder if we can buy them here in turkey
-
is this "offer" still available [?]
-
Just search filmon in apple store and it's free to download.
-
Actually stoop...I can't find it now?
-
I still have it but can't find it on apple store. I have a feeling it's now merged with tvcatchup which is very similar but you have to log in every time you want to use it. Good quality though.

I followed link that you originally posted Keith but couldn't see any obvious next steps and I had a good look around the pages and clicked on anything that looked like it might take me somewhere etc...
I knew I should have done this when you first posted it...
-
FilmOn is still available on safari (and still free)
www.filmon.com
-
Filmon is still available on iphone4 app..
Still works for me.
Buy a HTML lead and plug into your tv.
Best thing I've bought.
