Difficult they may be but few surely as disappointing as one I listened to for the first time in over 10 years today.
Deacon Blue's "When the World Knows Your Name" - absolutely rubbish compared with the amazing debut "Raintown".
Any others? :)

I agree Raintiwn was a classic but thought
When the world knows your name, although not a classic was a good follow up
My most disappointing follow up was
'The second coming' which attempted to live up to the
Brilliant debut album by
The Stone Roses
And Tracey chapman first album brilliant
Second one , rubbish

Keane's Under the Iron Sea. Apart from the single Is it any wonder, not a patch on their first album Hopes and Fears.

I thought it was a handful of commercially produced (but decent) singles that most people know, and the rest was a load of solemn rambling crap :)

Ah the Ricky (D)Ross influence, for gawd's sake never listen to any of his solo stuff before you have the number for the Samaritans to hand :(.
He was one of the support acts at Runrig's 30th anniversary party at Stirling Castle. First up were Phil Cunningham & Aly Bain, great start to get everyone up for the party. We then suffered about 30mins of Mr (D)Ross & I've never known a crowd so down. Not sure if it was part of the original plan (most suspected not), but Phil & Aly were brought back to liven us up again before the main event :)
