If it's turkcell or vodaphone no problem you will just need to contact whichever provider you have to activate the roaming function. In the case of Turkcell you can do it on line.

Post by: KKOB on February 16, 2008, 07:06:47 AM: If you use Turkcell Hazir Kart, (you buy scratch cards with credits on them), type in *111# and press the Call button. Your phone will then be activated for International Roaming.

Remember when using the phone to call Turkish numbers from outside of Turkey that you need to prefix all numbers with 009.

Do you have a translation to enable the roaming facility to be switched on? Sensible suggestions only please!!!
