Went to Carrefour today, no Slimline tonic.  However bargain in the towellng wraps to put around your head when you get out of the shower (not you Scunner).   Around £4.00 in the U.K.  3.90TL in Carrefour.
Tried the Summer Rose Market, he said he could get some S.L.T. in 5 years.  I asked him could I wait   :)
The quest goes on.... :(

I have also had a fruitless search in Calis for slimline tonic.  I remember once several years ago finding a bottle of shweppes sl tonic in a small supermarket in Olu Deniz, but have never seen any since.  I usually drink sugar free sprite with my vodka but its not the same!!

Tried the Pork Shop today, and she showed us small tins of Britvic Tonic, but not slimline.  I cannot understand if they can import this stuff why they cannot get the slimline.
If any business did manage to get it, they would be getting a lot of customers.  Tried a gin and normal tonic last night, horrible...

It just occurred to me - has anyone checked out the new alcohol shop in Gunlukbasi?  If it's designed to target ex-pats and tourists tastes, it might very well carry a selection of appropriate mixers.  Just a thought.

Will go and have a look tomorrow.  We passed it today, so know exactly the place... Thanks for the idea.

We went to the Alcohol Shop too, great selection of wines and lot of other beers and alcohol products.  Loved the quirky floor when we came in, did not know if it was safe to walk on,very original.
He said he will contact his suppliers and see if he can get some Slimline Tonic.  I have had some G.&.T's this week, but not enjoying them as much with the sugary tonic water.
