The Carnival Committee are planning to hold a "Strictly Come Prancing" Fun knock-out dance competition in February/March 2009. Each week couples will be taught a different dance by a local dance teacher. They will then go off and practice and come back and perform their interpretation of the dance in front of an audience and a panel of judges. One couple will be voted off each week and the eventual winners will receive a trophy. It will probably take place over a four week period on Saturday nights at the Golden Moon Hotel but we need to guage the interest fist.
