The new Calis Carnival Quiz Champions for 2009 are Cafe Pazar.
The event which attracted 13 local quiz teams was held at Cafe Pazar on Friday evening and for most of the night it was a very close battle between three teams, Cafe Pazar, "Just Us" and the Mutlu Crue (Mutlu 1881 in Koca Calis). In the end the home team romped ahead to win by 7 points from "Just Us". The cup, which the winning team will keep for one year, is now proudly displayed over the fireplace in Cafe Pazar.
During the evening the horses running in the next days Grand National were auctioned together with some donated Easter eggs. The "owners" of the top four placed horses all won food and drink hampers.
Thanks to everyone who supported the event. After paying for the hampers we netted 285 TL for the carnival charities
