CBF member Toky promised to sell football cards (I am not entirely sure what they are exactly but thought it rude to ask

) to raise funds for Bozalan School and she has now done that and sent the proceeds to the Paypal account...

£140.50!!!

What a great effort to stage something locally for the cause - and what a stunning total that is - thanks (again) Tokes!!!

They're fundraising cards that you put your name against a football team then when its full, you scratch off the bit at the top and see the name of a team underneath. Then you match up the correspondant team with the name of the person who chose that team. They win half of the takings. And 2 club members gave me £5 each to put in with what I'd made.

I would like to add to that with the money leftover from the Peecee Bench money which is 290 Lira

Thanks to everyone who donated to the picnic bench, this is now in place at the Animal Shelter, Im sure Claire would be happy with this

Thank you so much Toky for raising the money from the football cards and also a big thanks Andy for donating what is left from the Peecee bench fund. It will really help to swell the total raised so far and bring us nearer to our target to provide these children with not only the basics for the school day but also some of the nicer things that children in UK tend to take for granted.
