Over the last few days we have been very busy shopping on CBF's behalf for Bozalan school ready for our planned visit on Monday. Some furniture items have already been delivered to the school, playground equipment is on order and there are still a number of items to pick up from shops in Fethiye on Saturday.
Below are some of the goods already purchased - don't worry if your item is not shown yet as there are still some more goods to buy ready for the second trip up to the school. We will post pictures of these as we get them.
Every one of the 38 children at the school (yes the number has gone up!) will receive a 3C's bag (which they can personalise with fabric crayons to use as a school/shoe bag) containing their own personal items of stationery

A collection of hand knitted and crocheted jumpers made especially for the Bozalan children by a knitting circle of old age pensioners in England which have recently been brought out. These will help to keep them warm in the winter when it get really cold up in the mountains.
In addition to all of the above we have received donations of good quality second hand clothes and shoes for the children which we will also be taking up.
On Monday we will be getting the slippper size of all of the children so they have new indoor shoes to wear once we have raised enough money to purchase the carpet.
There are still a number of items left to fund to complete this project - mainly the carpet, desks and light fittings but hopefully with all your help we will get there. We are hopeful that the internal and external painting and renovation work to the toilets can be carried out during the summer closure with the help of some local builders.
Photos of Monday's visit will be posted early next week.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far to this fantastic project and a big thanks to Keith for making it possible.
