Another CBF Donation for the 3Cs Charity

I would like to let everyone on CBF know that I will this week pass 585 Lira across to the 3C charity. This is mainly the proceeds from John (Highlander's) Grand National Sweepstake and the actual total was more, as some contributors donated directly over in Calis.

585 lira, as I saw for myself, buys incredible happiness in Turkey, not least due to the hard as nails negotiating of the 3Cs committee who squeeze every cc of value for money out of your amazingly kind donations.

Again I can't start a topic like this without specifically thanking Highlander, who never misses an opportunity to come up with a plan to have a bit of forum fun and make a few quid for the kids. He's currently working on a new idea, given the working title of "guess the weight of the thing I'm thinking of".

585 lira is an amazing amount from a single sporting event and is just another chapter in your generosity. I thank everyone who supports our efforts on CBF. Without that support we would just look stupid, and 585 lira worse off

Wow thats a fantastic amount, huge thanx to everyone who supported this, many thanx to John for organising it and Keith for CBF.  There are such kind and generous folk on this forum who never cease to stop giving.

A fantastic result to a great bit of forum fun.  A huge thanks to Highlander for organising it and an equally huge thanks to everyone who took part, and of course the eventual winner Jacqui for donating her winnings.  As Keith says, 585 TL goes a long way to helping the children.

It is an even more fantasticer amount - due to my poor maths it is not 585 lira, it is 680 lira

Pat on the back for "H" he does a great job raising funds.  Also a thank you to Scunner for his "Events Promotion" on CBF.   Wonder what this latest idea entails??  Hope it's not guessing the weight of CBF members or I will have to get on a diet asap..
