It’s time to start having a clear out and sorting out your unwanted items as the popular Çalış Car Boot Sales are back!
The monthly Sunday car boot sales organised by the Çalış Children’s charity restart on 22 September. The sales, the first ones in S.W. Turkey, are now in their 6th year and are famous throughout the area and have proved so popular with residents and tourists alike that many towns have now started their own. The Çalış sales are held in the car park next to the Bahar Hotel on Çalış seafront The 3C's are pleased to advise stallholders that following today's committee meeting, despite the increases we are facing for the cost of table hire, we have decided to maintain the price of a stall for this season at 15TL which includes two tables
Not only are the sales a hunting ground for bargains and a great social event but they are also a great way of fundraising with many local charities taking stalls to raise money for their good causes. The car boot organisers, Çalış based children’s charity, the 3C’s, raises money to fund projects for local children from the sales of donated items on their committee stall and also from the stall entrance fees (net of the cost of table hire).
Sale dates for the winter season have now been agreed with Fethiye Belediye and the Çalış Association so please make a note of these in your diary. They are:

Of course if you have unwanted goods but do not want the bother of getting up early on a Sunday morning and having a stall, our charity would be more than grateful to take these off you hands and can collect if required. Please PM if you wish to make any donations.
Finally the 3C's charity shop located at the Eyna restaurant on Calis promenade (just around the corner from the Car Boot car park) will be open on Car boot Sundays thoughout the season from 10.00 until 2.00 pm
