Gosh Jacqui you're making me blush   ;)

Thanks bewva, a great game there as befitting a World Cup Final, thought the Aussies were going to come back in the 2nd half.  Have just been Skyping my daughter and family in New Zealand and, as you would expect, they are all going crazy over there ;D

Highlander, it's my pleasure. At the end of the day it's just a bit of fun to raise as much money as possible for the children who need it.  Hope it's raised lots.    :)

Phil also has relatives in N.Z.  He used to sail there when he was in the Merchant Navy, so I think although he said we was a neutral, he was pleased that N.Z. won..  Anyway the crisps, biscuits and whisky all went down well during the match.

Thanks to marina for her lovely gesture and to each of the following for taking part……..

bewva, badger, strange, pi55y, mr toky, lotty, MSB, toky, jim fraser, hamlet, marina, stuartT, lizdev, chris35, captain squiffy, echogirl1, phil5257 and Jacqui harvey

Thanks also to swindsor who didn’t manage to take part but contributed nonetheless.

But I very much want to round up this fund raiser by publicly acknowledging receipt of an extremely generous donation which was made some time ago by a member who wishes to remain anonymous. This is by no means the first time this member has made a substantial donation.  Thank you so very much for your continued support. One day I hope to be able to sing your praises from the roof tops    ;)

When I starting working on this I pitched the various amounts in the hope of raising £ 250.00.

But it seems I really will never learn because yet again I failed to factor in the generosity of CBF members.

I am delighted to report that the total you, CBF members have raised is in fact £ 500.00.
