Know exactly what you mean H.  This is a great free Forum where so many questions are asked about the local area and We i.e. Phil and I would have been lost in Calis without this wonderful Forum. We support a few Charities at home too, but always like to give a little to the Calis Charities as they do great work in the area we love to spend time in.  It would be nice to see some more of the members supporting a Calis Charity too.
We know all the regulars who always support the Calis Charities, so not saying anything against them at all.
I also think whatever we give we get back in lots of other ways.    ;)

There will always be those who give and those who do not.. Reading FB. seems like there are loads of people who think that animals are more important than children but that is their perrogative...Never seen as many animal charities, cats homes etc.that have sprung up since the start of Animal Aid. .. This is NOT a criticism by the way. Just an observation...

As I said earlier....

"PLEASE REMEMBER taking part in these things is NOT a condition of CBF membership and that there is no requirement whatsoever to participate".

I would hope that I never come across as badgering people into taking part. It is entirely up to individuals where they do so or not.

Just because people do not take part in this or any other fund raiser does not mean they do not contribute to charities in a vast variety of other ways.

Again, as I said earlier there are people on this Forum who have not taken part in any of my fund raisers but have sent me substantial donations to the 3C's anonymously or have made donations in Calis again anonymously.

So can I suggest that we keep this thread to the matter in hand and debate charity giving elsewhere and at another time.

We do have a full bus and I'll give you more details later

Not least because the forum has no direct link with the charity and the charity has no direct link with the forum.

We give local charities a section to use to publicise events etc, and are happy to do so.  Some take advantage of this more than others.

Participation in 3C fundraisers is not a requirement for CBF membership, we are not the charity.

Yaay!  All Blacks for me,  ;D  Good omen for me with my Kiwi son-in-law and half Kiwi grandson!  Would have been shouting for them anyway.

(Though if they win I think it means I end up paying more!)    ;)  :)

Not the case marina but I know for a fact that wouldn't bother you one iota and that you're primary interest is in helping the kids.

Good luck in the competition.

Thank you so much for your continued support.  :)

Ok, have gone back and read your original post again H and understand it now (I think!).   :)
As long as the kids are the winners that's what really counts - but come on All Blacks!!   ;D

I can't see groups A & B on your chart H, neither can I enlarge the sheet to make the text readable so I have no idea where I am on there.
