  Comparing then and now personalities and events is unfair in some respects as things have

  changed so much. Footballs,boots,pitches, training,sports science ect.Formula 1 cars,tyres,

  circuits,electronics, ect. We have our favorite's from our generation but further down the

  line the next generation will say "who". I have my favorites but sport has changed beyond

  recognition.
