Title: Accommodation in Datca
Post by: peat on January 28, 2017, 10:31:32 AM
I am going to Fethiye for a couple of weeks in May and I fancy 2 or 3 nights in Datca. I would need a two bed apartment or two hotel rooms. Can anyone recommend suitable premises - would need to be reasonably cheap.
Thanks,
Peat

Fora Apt/Hote may be worth a look.

It was good and cheap enough for me in September 2016.

I've got some friends who live in Datca. I'll ask them for a recommendation for you.

Not sure if there is a direct bus from Fethiye, but certainly you can get the bus to Marmaris & another one from Marmaris to Datca

Thanks folks, I will look into the Fora Apart. It is the bus from Fethiye to Marmaris then onward to Datca that I am planning.

nice helpful staff.

We got the bus to Marmaris, from Gunlukbasi to the Otogar, which is about 2hours, then there was a bus waiting, which takes about
a hour to Datcha, lovely little place to visit.

Here's the reply from my friends in Datca:-

Datça is not a cheap place, Tuna pensiyon, is OK, our villa is on a hotel site, Marphe Otel, but might be too expensive. It's very easy to drive to Datça, just follow the signs to Marmaris, and there are plenty of signs from there, there is only one road to Datça, over the mountains, with some fabulous views.
