Turkey and Daesh
« on: July 01, 2016, 09:55:48 AM »

The lead story in yesterday's New York Times was headlined "Turkey, a Conduit for Fighters Joining ISIS, Begins to Feel Its Wrath" was a pretty scathing attack on the Turkish track record with ISIS and came close to saying that the Ataturk Airport attack "serves you right" or at least "you reap what you sow".

It's been no secret where Ankaras sympathies have lain over the past few years.  The number of journalists/commentators/Polis/prosecutors currently in jail for exposing collaborations between the state and various Islamist groups in Syria is testament to that fact.

That's all I'm going to say.
