Title: Alex's Bar
Post by: booty81 on July 21, 2014, 09:51:24 AM
Hi all

Don't know if anyone would be able to help but I was speaking to my brother in law who came to Calis a couple of years ago and recommended a bar to me. He can't remember the name of it but says it was next door to a bar called Shamrocks. He calls it Alex's bar because the man that worked there was called Alex. The only other info he has was that it served beer in bigger than glasses.

Joseph's glasses look bigger than a pint and in my experience it's not watered down, the only places I have thought this is the bars on the prom that used to do the happy hour prices

Well they sell cheap Irish cream and sell it as Bailleys for TL14.  Definately not the real McCoy. :(

Some of those cheaper Irish Creams are very very good and a fair comparison to Baileys.  However, if it is the cheaper product, then the price should reflect that and it should not be marketed as "Baileys".  Shame on you Joseph's Bar. :(
