I am not sure but having eaten at different restaurants throughout the season so far, the standards do appear to be slipping.
It could be the heat, I know that the last place I would like to be is in a hot kitchen in the current temperatures we are experiencing.
The "eatery's" that look to be doing ok is the MEZE restaurants, the lokantas mainly for real Turkish fare and not aimed at the tourist.
so until October I will continue to eat at home, visiting the chicken spit take way around the corner, and also live on toast!
