S

If you actually mean Sky, you need a dish about the size of jodderal bank and I believe you need to take your own digi box and card from the UK.

If you just mean sattelite TV with english chanells, then get Digiturk, you will see it advertised all over in Fethiye, the basic package with about 12 english launguage channels costs about £10 per month. I have it on direct debit to my visa card.

I also heard that you can pay £200 one off fee to get the same channels rather than pay monthly. We havent looked into this yet, so I dont have any more details.

So how does it work. Is there a sum to be paid when purchasing Digiturk and then £10 per month

Yep,

I think I paid about £60 which covered the box and installation, I really cant remember all of the channels, I hardly watch it, but we do get BBC News 24, CNN, BBC Prime, Hallmark ( film Channel, all the usuaul MTV, VH1 etc. Eurosport, Fox News, National Geographic and a few more.

Thanks for that.  We are not having it putin at the moment but if we make the big jump it is something we would probably want then.

Its primarily for the sports channels that we need it for.  George you're right about the decoder and card, spoken to a sky engineer tonight...not as easy as I thought it would be.

Thanks for your help guys.
