Title: Lovely Handmade Cards & Translations
Post by: Jacqui Harvey on June 17, 2011, 23:27:21 PM
Have to recommend Hippy Chic which is in the small street at the side of the Mulberry Restaurant, Fethiye. I have always been in and bought costume jewellery from Linda and Yacoub.  Linda is making lovely greetings cards to order.  If you give her names and details of the event and how you want your card she will get one ready for you. Got a lovely card for our Granddaugther's first birthday.  Linda put a little fairy story inside which incorporated Erin's name.  We were delighted with it.   Her husband Yacoub is now working as a translator and came with us to the Bank to help us out, he then came to the Aydem (Electric Board) as we had problems with our bill. Don't know how we would have managed without him.

Many of us know Lynda well - as she herself says she "was a jewellery shop selling cards and is now a card shop selling jewellery".

Her greetings card business has really taken off and it is worth knowing the details if like me you have difficulty remembering friends and family members birthdays, anniversaries or just want to make remembering to remember a special occasion easy.

All you need to do is to prepare a list of all the people whose birthdays, special occasions etc you want a card for with a bit of information about them.

Lynda has a form that you can use to fill in all the detail like names, dates, hobbies, special interests etc.

Then when the time comes Lynda makes your card/s and contacts you about a month before hand with your lovely hand made card ready for collection. All you have to do is to collect and send it.

It is an excellent idea and shows true initiative providing a unique service in this area.  :)
